If steps to your front door, garden terracing, or an external staircase are making life difficult, the Homeglide Outdoor is the purpose-built solution. Designed and tested specifically for outdoor use, it handles the full range of British weather conditions — rain, frost, and everything in between — without compromising on safety or comfort.
Every component of the Homeglide Outdoor is weather-sealed and corrosion-resistant. The motor, rail, and control systems are all protected to ensure reliable operation year-round, while a fitted cover keeps the seat and controls dry when the lift is not in use. The non-slip footrest and seat surface add a further layer of safety in wet conditions.
The controls are identical to the indoor Homeglide — a simple joystick on the armrest, plus two wireless remotes for calling the lift from either end. The 24V DC motor provides a smooth, quiet ride and maintains a charge at both ends of the rail for use during power cuts. Obstruction sensors stop the carriage automatically if anything is on the steps.
Clark & Partners will carry out a full outdoor survey, advise on rail routing around any bends or landings in your external steps, and complete the installation to the highest standard. We provide full aftercare and servicing across South Yorkshire and Derbyshire.
Your stairlift will be installed by one of our fully trained engineers at a time that suits you. The installation includes a full safety demonstration, testing of all functions, and a walkthrough of how to use your lift confidently. We take care of everything so you don't have to.
50-mile delivery radius: Due to the nature of some of our products, we restrict delivery to within 50 miles of our Orgreave Drive head office. This allows us to provide effective installation and after-sales support. This applies to: Mobility Scooters, Stairlifts, Riser Recliners, Specialist Wheelchairs and Powerchairs.
