The Homeglide Extra takes everything that makes the standard Homeglide so well regarded and adds a wider, more generously padded seat for those who prefer extra comfort or require additional space. The weight capacity is increased to 160kg, making it suitable for a broader range of users without compromising on smooth, quiet performance.
Like the standard Homeglide, the Extra features a slim aluminium rail that keeps the staircase clear, along with foldaway seat, footrest, and armrests. The joystick controls are intuitive and easy to manage, even for those with limited grip strength, and the wireless remotes allow the lift to be called from either floor — useful for carers as well as users.
The 24V DC motor provides a smooth, consistent ride and charges automatically at both ends of the rail, giving you a reliable backup charge in the event of a power cut. Safety sensors beneath the footrest stop the lift automatically if anything is in its path, and the seat belt provides additional peace of mind.
Our Clark & Partners team will assess your staircase, handle the full installation, and make sure you're completely comfortable with your new lift before we leave. We service and maintain stairlifts across South Yorkshire and Derbyshire, so you're always in safe hands.
Your stairlift will be installed by one of our fully trained engineers at a time that suits you. The installation includes a full safety demonstration, testing of all functions, and a walkthrough of how to use your lift confidently. We take care of everything so you don't have to.
50-mile delivery radius: Due to the nature of some of our products, we restrict delivery to within 50 miles of our Orgreave Drive head office. This allows us to provide effective installation and after-sales support. This applies to: Mobility Scooters, Stairlifts, Riser Recliners, Specialist Wheelchairs and Powerchairs.
