A strikingly lightweight carbon powerchair - offering powered independence for Sheffield users who want capability without the weight of a traditional electric wheelchair.
A strikingly lightweight carbon powerchair - offering powered independence for Sheffield users who want capability without the weight of a traditional electric wheelchair.
The Aero Carbon Powerchair makes an immediate impression: it is genuinely, noticeably lighter than a conventional powered wheelchair, and that difference matters in practical daily life. Transfers are easier, vehicle loading is more manageable, and the chair handles with an agility that heavier powerchairs can't replicate. The carbon construction isn't just a weight-saving exercise - it produces a frame that is also exceptionally stiff, which translates into confident, precise drive characteristics on South Yorkshire's urban surfaces and South Yorkshire's outdoor environments. The powered drive system provides comfortable range for a full day's use, and the joystick control is well-positioned for natural hand rest. Seating can be configured to support good posture for extended use. This is a powerchair for users who want the freedom of electric drive but have been put off by the weight and size of traditional options. If you've been told a powered wheelchair will be too heavy to manage, the Aero Carbon is the answer to that concern.
