How do I pay for mobility equipment?

There are many resources available to help with funding. We work regularly with organisations providing quotes and options.

Home › About › How Do I Pay for Equipment

We offer different ways to pay for your mobility equipment. There are many resources available to help with funding - we regularly work with organisations providing quotes and options for their customers where they offer partial or full funding. Call us on 0114 229 3388 for more details.

Councils & Local Authorities

Local authorities can offer funding through resources such as DFG (Disabled Facilities Grants), which provide customers a value towards any equipment they need such as a stairlift, bathroom or ramp.

Snap! Finance

Customers visiting our four stores have the option of applying to pay using Snap! Finance, giving you the flexibility to spread the cost of your equipment over time.

Motability

Customers who receive higher rate disability allowance or PIP can use Motability against powered wheelchairs and scooters. Their package covers 3-year periods in which a product is supplied and maintained throughout the contract.

Local Wheelchair Services

Local wheelchair services provide help getting a wheelchair, and the PWB (Personal Wheelchair Budget) gives customers a value towards a wheelchair which can be used in store and topped up by the customer.

Charities

There are many charities who help with funding for mobility equipment. We recommend researching and contacting them for additional help. Working with so many, we may be able to help advise who to get in touch with.

Direct Payment

Of course, you can also pay directly online or in store using card, bank transfer (BACS), or Apple Pay. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Not sure which option is right for you?

Our team has experience working with all of the above funding routes and can advise you on the best option for your situation. We work closely with councils, healthcare professionals, and charities to make sure you get the equipment you need.
