The Homeglide is Handicare's most popular straight stairlift, and it's easy to see why. Designed to fit neatly against the wall and leave plenty of room on the staircase for other household members, it's the ideal choice for those who want a dependable, no-fuss solution to managing the stairs.
With its slim rail and low-profile design, the Homeglide is one of the least obtrusive stairlifts on the market. The seat, footrest, and armrests all fold away easily when not in use, keeping the staircase clear. Operation couldn't be simpler — a smooth-action joystick on the armrest controls everything, and the two wireless remote controls mean you can send the lift up or down from either level.
The Homeglide runs quietly on a 24V DC motor and charges automatically whenever it's parked at either end of the rail — so even during a power cut, you'll have enough charge to complete a journey. The swivel seat makes getting on and off at the top landing much safer, turning away from the stairs before you stand.
At Clark & Partners, our engineers carry out a full home survey, install your Homeglide with care, and walk you through everything before they leave. We're based in South Yorkshire and cover all of South Yorkshire — and we're here for ongoing servicing and support long after installation day.
Your stairlift will be installed by one of our fully trained engineers at a time that suits you. The installation includes a full safety demonstration, testing of all functions, and a walkthrough of how to use your lift confidently. We take care of everything so you don't have to.
50-mile delivery radius: Due to the nature of some of our products, we restrict delivery to within 50 miles of our Orgreave Drive head office. This allows us to provide effective installation and after-sales support. This applies to: Mobility Scooters, Stairlifts, Riser Recliners, Specialist Wheelchairs and Powerchairs.
